2023 was another year full of support from people like yourself who are reading this now. The free services we provide for people living with memory loss, care partners, families, and the rest of the community would not be possible without your help on an annual basis. Check out the recaps for this year’s Alzheimer’s San Diego events below!
2023 Alzheimer’s San Diego Events
Our first event of the year was held at the Cuvier Club in La Jolla, where we honored our former Director of Education and current Chief Community Health Officer at Grossmont Healthcare District, Amy Abrams, MSW/MPH, as our Visionary of the Year. Read the full recap & view photos >
At our annual research forum, eight of Southern California’s most respected dementia researchers gathered virtually to answer your questions about the progress happening behind the scenes of ongoing clinical trials. We kicked off the Rides4ALZ 2023 with over 350 participants as they glided through the county and met up for the after party at AleSmith Brewing. San Diego Harley-Davidson Owners (HOG) was the top team, but everyone contributed into making this a fun day full of laughs and memories. View the recap & photos >
As usual, the Walk4ALZ in Balboa Park was an incredible and emotional day with our community coming together to walk for their loved ones. The Men Remember was the top team this year, and we raised over $480,000 to support people impacted by dementia in San Diego County. Read about the event & view photos >
