Join the Tijuana River reserve’s docent (and Alzheimer’s San Diego volunteer) who is blind, Ron Peterson, for his nature walk – An Eye-Opening Experience Without Sight on Thursday, June 22nd at 10 a.m. Accompanied by his guide-dog, Gidget, Ron will guide participants along the trails around the Visitor Center to demonstrate how using other senses, besides sight, will create an enriched appreciation and enhanced knowledge of native plants from his unique worldview.
