Neraly 65,000 San Diegans have Alzheimer’s or another dementia, and that number will continue to grow until a cure is found. KUSI recently dedicated an entire San Diego People episode to Alzheimer’s disease and the epidemic happening right here in San Diego.

Local caregiver Thomas Shaw (recently featured in our summer newsletter) graciously shared his journey of the ups and downs, setbacks and successes since his wife Lynn was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s.
