While this year was the first “virtual” Rides4ALZ – it was also the most successful ride yet.
On July 18th, 184 riders set off on their own or in small groups to ride the 108-mile route through San Diego County. Overall, a record $186,062 was raised for local Alzheimer’s support and research!
This surpassed our fundraising goal, and was a 26% increase from 2019. Thank you to our riders and generous sponsors, and everyone who supported them, from the entire Alzheimer’s San Diego team.
While we missed seeing everyone ride together, we appreciate everyone’s flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ride’s success is a true testament to the passion and commitment of the local motorcycle community.
